Why don’t mosquitoes spread Ebola?

Why don’t mosquitoes spread Ebola?.

  1. I have not yet seen any definitive proof that they do not…I am interested in seeing research done on tree top mosquitoes in the outbreak areas starting now (November) and having collections and testing of them for virus run through April..this is the time of year many outbreaks begin so I presume if there is virus available in insects (ants maybe also) then this would be the time to be looking. Tree top mosquitoes have history in spreading yellow fever after logging brought them to the ground level. CDC researchers went to do their published collecting about 4 months after an outbreak began which would have allowed the virus to be gone from any critters and insects if they were migrating. Just my few cents 🙂
